Temple Institute's Early Vessel and Priestly Garment Preparations Reported

Deseret News·5 November 1989

Deseret News reported on 5 November 1989 that the Temple Institute had spent two years making replicas of Temple vessels and priestly garments. The Institute was also using a computer to draw Temple blueprints and had sponsored a Temple-research conference attended by about 350 people. Spokesman Zev Golan said it had no timetable or plans to oust Muslims from the site. A later photograph shows the Institute's menorah. Image: ariely, Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons.
