Red Heifer Burned in Practice Ceremony for Priests

Israel National News published video of a rehearsal of the biblical red heifer ritual, in which a heifer raised in Israel was slaughtered and burned in a practice ceremony for priests. The animal had been disqualified from the real ritual after two black hairs were found on its body. The ritual needed before Temple service can resume has now been physically rehearsed, though not yet performed as the valid rite.
