Pope Francis and Grand Imam Sign Document on Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi

On 4 February 2019 in Abu Dhabi, Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, signed the 'Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together'. It states that 'the pluralism and the diversity of religions, colour, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom'. Vatican News later described the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi as the first initiative to embody the document's ideals.
