Land on the Mount of Olives Set Aside for Red Heifer Ceremony: 'We Have Everything Ready'

CBN News reported that the red heifer ceremony must be held on the Mount of Olives, at a spot facing where the Temple stood, and that land directly east of the Temple Mount had been bought for it about 12 years earlier. Its owner, Rabbi Yitshak Mamo of Uvne Yerushalayim, said it had to be placed so the priest could see the Holy of Holies, and called the ceremony "the first step to the Temple". He said the Temple Institute had priests kept ritually pure from birth: "We have the priest, we have the red heifer, we have the land. We have everything ready."
