CBS News reported that when Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida gave a speech marking the 100th day of the Gaza war, he listed the motives for the 7 October attack and accused Jews of "bringing red cows" to the Holy Land. The red heifers flown from Texas are seen by some Jews and Christians as the key to rebuilding the Temple. Hamas itself has now tied the war to the preparations for a Third Temple.
