Bhutan has become the 39th nation to join the 50-in-5 digital public infrastructure campaign, advancing its self-sovereign national digital identity system that is already being integrated across government, business, and land ownership. The accelerating global adoption of interoperable digital identity systems represents a critical piece of end-times infrastructure — the technological framework that would enable centralised control over who can access services, participate in commerce, and function in society. Revelation 13:16-17 warns of a coming system where no one can buy or sell without a mark, and the rapid, coordinated worldwide rollout of digital identity is building the very architecture that could make such control possible.
