Ben-Gvir: 'The Political Echelon Permits Prayer' on the Temple Mount

At a Knesset conference titled "Israel's Return to the Temple Mount", National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said, "I am the political echelon, and the political echelon permits prayer at the Temple Mount." The Prime Minister's Office replied that the status quo had not changed and would not change, and religious parties also objected. The minister responsible for the police now says prayer is permitted, even as the government says otherwise.
