UK Agrees to Rejoin Erasmus+ From 2027

The Guardian·17 December 2025

Britain and the EU announced an agreement on 17 December 2025 for the UK to return to Erasmus+ from 2027. The education and training programme would reopen opportunities for students, apprentices and other learners after Britain’s departure following Brexit. The stated UK contribution for 2027 was £570 million. This restores a specific European programme, not EU membership. Britain is going back into an EU programme it left after Brexit.
