Two London men, Mohmed Abdulkarim and Nouman Essghir, both 24, have been charged under Britain's 2023 National Security Act over an incident outside RAF Fairford, an English air base the United States has used to launch strikes on Iran. The prime minister says there are strong indications Iran played a part, which Tehran denies, and five men were arrested near the base. The case shows the Iran conflict reaching into Europe, with a US-used base on British soil now an alleged target and Britain directly accusing Iran.
