Trump Tells UN the Future Belongs to Patriots, Not Globalists

In his third address to the UN General Assembly, Donald Trump urged leaders to put their own countries first. “The future does not belong to globalists; it belongs to patriots,” he said on 24 September 2019. He also pressed allies to pay more towards defence and warned Iran over its nuclear programme. He framed the contest plainly: nations against the system built to govern them together.
