Saudi Crown Prince Says Normalisation With Israel Gets Closer 'Every Day'

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told Fox News that Saudi Arabia and Israel were moving closer to normalisation, saying "every day, we get closer", while stressing that the Palestinian issue remained very important. The talks, brokered by the United States, reportedly involved Palestinian concessions, US security guarantees and civilian nuclear help. Seventeen days later Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October, and the anticipated deal stalled.
