Report: Trump weighed tactical nuclear use against Iran's Pickaxe Mountain

A LifeSite commentary, citing Tucker Carlson and analyst Douglas Macgregor, says President Trump reportedly considered tactical nuclear weapons against Iran's Pickaxe Mountain facility because conventional arms may not destroy it. The claim is unverified and rests on secondary reporting and opinion. It also notes reported talks on a phased US-Iran agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The story shows how close the Iran war may be to nuclear escalation, and how a diplomatic opening could still reduce the risk of a wider regional war.
