Netanyahu says he discussed toppling Iran's regime with Trump

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he discussed with US President Donald Trump on Sunday the need to topple Iran's government, arguing that dismantling it is the only way to stop Tehran rebuilding its nuclear programme and its network of allied armed groups. The report is a brief video summary based on Netanyahu's own statement, so no operational plan or US commitment is confirmed. It still signals that Israel is pressing for regime change rather than containment, which would widen the aims of the confrontation and raise the prospect of deeper American involvement.
