Israeli Captain-Doctor Killed by Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon

Captain Dr. Ori Yosef Silvester, 30, from Tel Aviv, was killed in combat in southern Lebanon, with several other soldiers severely wounded in the same incident. Israel's ongoing military engagement on its northern border reflects the sustained pressure the nation faces from Hezbollah, a proxy force dedicated to its destruction — a pattern Scripture associates with the gathering hostility against Israel in the last days. Zechariah 12:3 warns that Jerusalem and Israel will become a burdensome stone for all peoples, surrounded by enemies, yet ultimately defended by God Himself.
