Iran disputes Qatari peace offer in war talks with US and Israel

Qatari mediators reportedly presented a plan to end the war between Iran and the United States and Israel, with a seven-day timeline and daily confidence-building steps, according to Reuters citing an unnamed non-Iranian official. A senior Iranian official involved in the talks rejected the description, saying Qatar offered only "unacceptable ideas and not an offer" and that Tehran's position on nuclear issues is unchanged. The dispute shows mediation has not yet narrowed the core gap, leaving the risk of renewed and wider regional fighting open.
