The Iran-aligned Houthis say they hit Saudi Arabia's defence ministry in Riyadh with a ballistic missile and launched new attacks on the Ras Tanura refinery, where a fire was reported and later contained. Saudi forces say they intercepted two missiles, but Riyadh has not confirmed the claimed hits and no damage assessment exists. If verified, strikes on the capital and on Ras Tanura, which handles much of the kingdom's oil exports, would widen the Iran-linked regional war into the Gulf's core energy and military infrastructure.
