Canada's Bill C-41 would allow euthanasia on advance request without consent

Canada's Liberal government has introduced Bill C-41, the "safeguards act", which permanently bars euthanasia where mental illness is the sole cause. Campaign Life Coalition says it would let practitioners proceed on an earlier advance request without informing or speaking with the person, checking only for "refusal or resistance".
