Biometric tools emerge to tie AI agents to verified humans

Several firms, including World, iProov, Seventh Sense, Token and Microsoft, are launching products that link AI agents to a verified person through biometric liveness checks and cryptographic credentials. African governments are also advancing interoperable national digital ID pilots and shared infrastructure. Together these steps show biometric identity becoming the gateway for automated financial and online activity, a convergence of identity, AI and payments that makes participation increasingly dependent on verified credentials.
