More than 170 million scanned identity documents, primarily US driver's licences, have been found for sale on a dark-web service allegedly fed from IDScan.net customer systems such as Hertz and a cannabis dispensary chain, Biometric Update reports, citing KrebsOnSecurity; the FBI has opened an inquiry.
